Pastor’s Notes

A meeting is scheduled for ALL Ministry Team Leaders and Heads of Organizations on Tuesday, May 28th at 7:00 p.m. in the Imani Room. Please bring your calendars and be on time.
The Parish Office will close at Noon on Friday, May 24th and will remain closed through May 27th in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday. The parish office will resume its regular business hours on Tuesday, May 28th.
Mass on Memorial Day, May 27th will be held in the church at 8:30 a.m. We will remember all those who lost their lives in service to our country. All are welcome to worship with us!
As we celebrate the Memorial Day holiday and the official beginning of summer, let us thank God for the many women and men who have served in the military and especially those who lost their lives in that service. I am always mindful of my grandfather, Dad, and oldest sister who gave several years of their lives in service to our country. Although they returned home safely, I am aware that others did not. As we remember our deceased service women and men, let us also remember to pray for their families who continue to mourn their loss. May our good and gracious God comfort and bless them in abundance.
