Pastor’s Notes
- The Parish Office will be closed from July 4-5 in observance of Independence day. Mass on July 4th will be celebrated in the Church and on Friday, July 5th, there is no Mass.
- Congratulations to all 2019 Graduates. May God Bless you as you pursue the next phase of your life.
- Thank you to Alida Wallace, Mabel Wayne, Tanya Woods and Idella Dorsey for spear heading the initiative to get the 90th to 91st street block of Harper Avenue named in honor of Fr. Larry Duris.
- Faith Sharing on the Sunday Scriptures will not meet during the month of July. We will resume on Wednesday, August 7th at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
- A picnic will be held on the rectory grounds on Sunday, July 14th from 2 p.m. onward for anyone who wants to celebrate. Please bring a favorite dish to share. We have two bar-b-que pits in the garage and you are welcome to bring your own. The Parish will provide some of the meat and drinks. Please bring your lawn chair. Let’s come together, “Jus b-cuz!”
